the move, the LME EPM offers total data protection that meets your evolving
security needs through both software and hardware. Your protection starts
with fingerprint authentication that gives the designated owner access to
the LME EPM.
For complete accuracy, the fingerprint reader scans your fingerprint pattern
from the live layer under the skin, bypassing any common skin surface
conditions, such as cuts, eczemas etc. The built-in LME Security Protect
Management (LSPM) protects access to the device and to your network.
You can choose to set up
multi-factor authentication for different security levels while enjoying the
Single Sign On (SSO) one-time login convenience to your web sites and office
applications, without compromising your security or the integrity of your
data.
Biometric Fingerprint
Reader
LME EPM uses a semiconductor-based
RF (radio frequency) biometric fingerprint scanner. The RF electronic
imaging mechanism reads the fingerprint pattern from the live layer of skin
that lies just beneath the skin's dry outer surface layer. This means that
the sensor is less affected by common skin surface conditions, including
dry, worn, calloused, dirty or oily skin, which can impair the ability of
the reader to acquire accurate fingerprint data.

The LME EPM is the first micro-PC with a 7” widescreen GPS solution.
The satellite-based GPS provides a
comprehensive travel guide so that you no longer need to deal with paper
maps or ask for directions!
A foldable antenna stores
conveniently when not in use. An extension antenna is provided for in-car
use.
Power to Go On and On
The LME EPM is provided with a
normal capacity and a high capacity lithium-ion battery as standard, a car
charger and a domestic power supply. An optional docking station provides
connection to a standard size keyboard, mouse and monitor.

functions. Built-in Bluetooth 2.0 EDR (Enhanced Data Rate), WLAN 802.11

The LME EPM runs on Windows® Vista
Tablet PC Edition with Touch Pack software and ergonomic hardware interface
designs. With a complete set of function keys laid out on both sides of the
front panel, you will enjoy using the same mouse, scroll buttons, and hot
keys that you would normally use as well as an on-screen keypad, all at the
finger tips.
 A
full size folding travel keyboard comes as standard with the unit, together
with an optical travel mouse. There is a lead supplied for an external VGA
monitor, a file transfer cable, and USB mini-keyboard connector.
